I have finally started to bridge my portfolio into working with male models. I’ve felt it’s been a bit one-sided for the past few months and am also looking to start putting together mixed group concepts. My friend Aaron jumped in to be my first test. We incorporated the suit case I had purchased at Goodwill as part of the theme for our concept. Enjoy the photos of this traveling man.

As a way to expand my photography concepts, I’ve been working to introduce more props into my photo shoots. I’ve taken to scouring the local Arizona Goodwill stores in search of anything that looks cool, has an older or stylized feel to it and generally adds an extra dimension to the photographs. A few weeks ago I made it my goal of using a black suit case as a prop.

With that in mind, Edyta from S.I.M. Agency and I met for a traveler’s photo shoot. Heavy clouds lent a nice soft light to the photos – and a bit of rain at the end we had to scramble away from.  Edyta and I have worked together before, so we slipped into the concept easily and had a great time. Hope you enjoy this editorial photo session.
